Friday, 8th October 2010Well firstly, Welcome to my Brand Spankin’ New Website! It has been a journey and a half getting here, and I can’t wait to share my music with you…
Music is such a gift. I’ve been singing since I was tiny, but I hadn’t written a song before the start of this year.. since then my peepers have been opened to a whole new world… I’ve spent the last 10 months experimenting with melodies and lyrics and loving every minute, and delved deeper into my soul to discover what it is I want to say through my songs. I’ve written with some amazing people who’ve inspired and encouraged me to open up and let the real me run free on so many levels. It’s OK to write a song based on a feeling or a situation, a wish or a dream, we all have them! I’ve already had one or two people listen to a song and tell me they really ‘relate’... This so excites me, if I can just relate to one person and assure them they are not alone in what they’re feeling or experiencing, or wishing or dreaming, then I’m a very happy girl.
You are with me now, at the start of my journey… and I really hope you enjoy being a part of it, wherever it takes us!
